Special Projects

Special Projects are for projects that fall outside our 4 main focus areas. This category gives us room to become involved in projects that:

  • provide our staff with an opportunity to volunteer, e.g Habitat for Humanity
  • allow us to respond to disasters, e.g. The Blanket Statement Drive; Relief for Victims of Xenophobic Attacks
  • allow us to support organisations who provide a special service to the greater public, e.g. Red Cross Children's Hospital, Tygerberg Children's Hospital, NSRI and the SPCA
  • supports projects of our various Trading Companies and Services Divisions
  • supports staff community projects
  • are of a special nature and that we feel we would like to support, e.g. The annual White Ribbon Act Against Abuse Campaign.
